Rotisserie Chicken Pho

Base: Chicken Pho Β· About 10 minutes Β· No heat unless you add it

The weeknight upgrade our customers swear by. The grocery store does the cooking, the bowl does the rest.

  1. Make the Chicken Pho as directed: hot water to the line, broth mix and spice pack in, four minutes.
  2. While it steeps, shred a handful of rotisserie chicken and slice your toppings: cilantro, jalapeΓ±o, onion, green onion.
  3. Stir the chicken through so the broth warms it, pile on the fresh toppings, finish with the chives and hoisin from the kit. Sriracha packet if you want the kick.

Six Ways Up.

One bowl each, a handful of fresh, no cooking class required.

The Full Pho House

Base: Beef Pho Β· About 10 min Β· No heat unless you add it
Add: Leftover steak, basil, bean sprouts, fresh onion, lime, jalapeΓ±o

Slice leftover steak thin and lay it over the finished bowl so the broth kisses it warm. Add basil, sprouts, and onion, then lime and jalapeΓ±o at the table. This is the full restaurant spread, at home.

Shrimp Pho

Base: Beef Pho or Chicken Pho Β· About 10 min Β· Gentle
Add: Small shrimp, cilantro, lime, green onion

Add small peeled shrimp right after the hot water goes in, they poach in the broth while the bowl steeps. Finish with cilantro, green onion, and a squeeze of lime. A customer showed us this one, and it stuck.

Hue Heat

Base: Bun Bo Hue Β· About 8 min Β· Medium, then some
Add: Extra chili crisp, fresh onion, lime, cilantro

Build the bowl as directed, then stir an extra spoon of chili crisp through with the lemongrass mix at the end. Fresh onion and lime on top. Pho’s sexy cousin, dressed up.

Street-Style Pad Thai

Base: Pad Thai Β· About 8 min Β· Zero spice
Add: Extra peanuts, bean sprouts, green onion, lime

Make the bowl, then toss through a handful of fresh bean sprouts for crunch. The chopped peanuts from the kit go on last so they stay crunchy, with green onion and a lime wedge on the side.

Lava Ramen, Loaded

Base: Spicy Beef Ramen Β· About 10 min Β· Lava level, pros only
Add: Leftover steak or chicken, green onion, extra chili crunch

The heat is real habanero and chili granules, not a dare you have to take plain. Load it with sliced steak or chicken and green onion, stir in the dried veggie mix, and keep a cold drink close. Respect the lava.

Garden Pho

Base: Vegetarian Pho Β· About 10 min Β· Fresh and bright
Add: Basil, bean sprouts, mushrooms, lime, jalapeΓ±o

Steep sliced mushrooms right in the hot broth with the bowl, then finish with basil, sprouts, lime, and jalapeΓ±o. All the whole-spice depth of the broth, garden on top.

The Three Rules of the Upgrade

1. Fresh goes on last

Herbs, sprouts, onion, and lime go on the finished bowl, never in the steep. That is how they stay bright instead of cooked flat.

2. Proteins ride along

Leftover steak, rotisserie chicken, shrimp: the broth’s heat warms cooked proteins through and poaches small shrimp. Nothing needs its own pan.

3. Crunch stays crunchy

Peanuts and chili crisp go on at the table, not a minute before. Texture is half the bowl.
